DJ u.g.f.t.

足立区綾瀬に生まれ、1歳で大阪・鶴橋へ。東京生まれながら、大阪のアングラシーンで育ち、独自の感性と適応力を培う。

1990年代半ばよりDJ／MCとして活動を開始。大阪・グランカフェのレギュラーを拠点に、奥のナイーブ、アメリカ村のDonflex、Club Down、Remix、Karma、故・AgiYuzuru氏が経営していたCafe Blueなどでプレイ。さらに東京・Yellowや名古屋・四日市Homesのレギュラー出演など、各地のシーンで活躍。

活動はクラブにとどまらず、FMでのDJミックス提供、ラジオ出演、テレビ番組での音楽解説、イベントMCなども経験。音楽制作ではヤシノミ洗剤のDrum’n’Bassミックスやアシックスブランドへの楽曲提供など、多彩な実績を残している。

現在は経営者としての顔も持ちながら、香港・台湾・中国（上海・広州・重慶・西安・北京）、ベトナム（ハノイ・ホーチミン）、フィリピン、タイ、モンゴル、さらにヨーロッパ（アムステルダム、ベルリン、ロンドン、スペイン）、オーストラリア、ニューヨーク（マンハッタン、ブルックリン）まで、世界のクラブシーンをリアルに体感してきた。

ニューヨークでは飛び入りでハーレムのMCセッションにも参加。

BREAK BEAT × JAZZ × ABSTRACT × Drum’n’Bass にHIPHOPをクロスオーバーさせたスタイルを軸に、常に進化を続けるDJである。

Born in Ayase, Tokyo, and raised in Tsuruhashi, Osaka from the age of one. While originally from Tokyo, UGFT’s roots were forged in Osaka’s underground scene, shaping his adaptability and unique sensibility.

Since the mid-1990s, he has been active as a DJ/MC, holding a residency at Osaka’s Grand Café and performing at venues such as Naive, Donflex, Club Down, Remix, Karma, and the late Aki Yuzuru’s Café Blue. His activities also extended to Tokyo’s Yellow and Yokkaichi Homes in Nagoya, where he held regular events.

Beyond the club floor, UGFT has contributed DJ mixes to FM, appeared on radio and television as a music commentator, and hosted events as an MC. His production credits include a Drum’n’Bass remix for “Yashinomi” detergent and original music for ASICS branding campaigns.

Today, alongside his role as a business owner, he continues to immerse himself in global club culture — from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and major Chinese cities (Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Xi’an, Beijing), to Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, Mongolia, as well as Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Spain, Australia, and New York’s Manhattan and Brooklyn.

In New York, he even joined an impromptu MC session in Harlem. His style — a UK-inspired crossover of BREAK BEAT × JAZZ × ABSTRACT × Drum’n’Bass — reflects a rare depth of experience and a constant evolution.

出生于东京足立区绫濑，1岁时移居大阪鹤桥。虽出身东京，但在大阪的地下场景中成长，培养了独特的感性与适应力。

自1990年代中期开始以DJ／MC身份活动。在大阪Grand Café担任常驻DJ，同时活跃于Naive、Donflex、Club Down、Remix、Karma，以及已故阿木让氏经营的Cafe Blue等俱乐部。还参与东京Yellow、名古屋四日市Homes的演出，活跃于日本各地。

不仅限于俱乐部，他还为ESFM提供DJ混音、参与广播与电视节目担任音乐评论员，并在各类活动中担任主持人。在音乐制作方面，也曾为“椰子树（ヤシノミ）”洗涤剂制作Drum’n’Bass混音，并为ASICS品牌提供原创音乐。

现今，他同时身为企业经营者，仍定期走访世界各地的俱乐部场景：包括香港、台湾、中国（上海、广州、重庆、西安、北京）、越南（河内、胡志明）、菲律宾、泰国、蒙古，以及欧洲的阿姆斯特丹、柏林、伦敦、西班牙，乃至澳大利亚与美国纽约（曼哈顿、布鲁克林）。

在纽约，他还曾即兴参加哈莱姆的MC表演。他的音乐风格以英国取向为核心，将 BREAK BEAT × JAZZ × ABSTRACT × Drum’n’Bass 融合交织，不断进化，展现出极为罕见的深度与广度。

東京出身、一歳で大阪に拠点を移す。

1990年代半ばからUGFTとしてDJ・MCとして活動を開始。大阪グランカフェでのレギュラーを軸に大阪、東京、名古屋で数百回以上のDJを担当。

DJ Qbertらが審査員として参加するDJコンペではDJPaulとのユニットで西日本チャンピオンとなる。

BREAK BEAT×JAZZ×ABSTRACT×Drum'n'BassをクロスオーバーさせたUKアプローチ。定期的に海外に旅してまわり、香港、台湾、中国、東南アジアから南アジア、アムステルダム、ロンドンのクラブシーンをリアルにエクスペリエンスしている。

I am from Tokyo and move the base at 1 year old in Osaka.

I start activity at the mid-1990s as DJ, MC as UGFT. I am in charge of DJ more than several hundred times centering on a regular with the Osaka Grand Cafe in Osaka, Tokyo, Nagoya.

I become West Japan champion with a unit with DJPaul by the DJ competition that DJ Qbert and others participate in as a judge.

The UK approach that let　BREAK BEAT×JAZZ×ABSTRACT×Drum'n'Bass　make crossover. I go on a trip abroad regularly, and experience does Southern Asia, Amsterdam, club scene of London realistically from circumference, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Southeast Asia.
